Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces for their latest attacks on civilians in the Gaza Strip, including the targeting of the Gaza European Hospital in Khan Younis.
The hospital, the only facility in the region providing medical care for cancer patients, was declared out of service on Thursday after sustaining severe damage from Israeli strikes.
Roads leading to the hospital were also destroyed, and several Palestinians were killed or injured as a result of the attacks.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of what it described as ongoing Israeli crimes of genocide against Palestinian civilians.
The statement underscored Saudi Arabia’s firm stance in holding the Israeli occupation forces fully responsible for these repeated and grave violations of international and humanitarian laws.
Calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the Kingdom emphasized its unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
It urged the international community to take decisive action by enforcing accountability and ending the continuous breaches of international law committed by Israeli forces.
